This Policy forms an integral part of the Global HBC Terms & Conditions, Vendor Terms, Advertising Terms, User Agreement and other applicable policies.
2. GLOBAL HBC'S PLATFORM RIGHTS
Global HBC reserves the maximum rights permitted by applicable law to determine whether any product, service, advertisement, listing, business activity or content may be permitted on the Platform.
Global HBC may, at its sole and reasonable discretion, and without assuming responsibility for the seller's business:
reject a listing;
refuse registration;
request additional information;
request licences or registrations;
request proof of authenticity;
request invoices or purchase documents;
request regulatory approvals;
restrict visibility;
remove or disable a listing;

terminate a vendor relationship;
permanently prohibit a person or business from using the Platform;
cooperate with law-enforcement or regulatory authorities where required or appropriate; and
take any other action reasonably necessary to protect Global HBC, its users, customers, vendors, business partners and the public.
Global HBC is not required to provide prior notice before taking urgent action where Global HBC reasonably believes that immediate action is necessary to protect users, the Platform, third parties, legal compliance, public safety or Global HBC's interests.
3. IMPORTANT PRINCIPLE – LISTING DOES NOT MEAN APPROVAL
The appearance of a product, service, advertisement or business on Global HBC does not constitute:
an endorsement;
certification;
guarantee;
verification;
recommendation;
approval;
authentication;
legal clearance;
regulatory approval; or
confirmation that the seller possesses all legally required licences.
Unless expressly stated by Global HBC in writing, Global HBC does not certify the legality, authenticity, safety, quality, effectiveness, ownership or regulatory status of any third-party product or service.
Each vendor remains solely responsible for ensuring that its products, services, advertisements and business activities comply with all applicable laws, licences, regulations and industry requirements.
4. GENERAL PROHIBITION
A product, service, listing, advertisement, business activity or content may not be offered through Global HBC if it:
is illegal;
violates applicable law;
violates a court order or regulatory direction;
infringes intellectual-property rights;

violates this Policy or another Global HBC policy;
may expose Global HBC to legal, regulatory, financial, operational or reputational risk; or

Global HBC may request supporting evidence for health-related claims.
12. UNLICENSED PROFESSIONAL OR MEDICAL SERVICES

approves the legality of an investment opportunity,
unless Global HBC has expressly provided such statement in writing.
Global HBC reserves the right to remove any financial or investment listing where the regulatory status, licensing, disclosures, business model, claims or documentation is unclear or presents a material risk to Global HBC or its users.

other protected personal information.
26. ILLEGAL GAMBLING AND UNAUTHORISED GAMING ACTIVITIES
Global HBC may prohibit gambling, betting, lotteries, gaming or similar activities where prohibited or regulated under applicable law.
Where an activity is legally regulated, Global HBC may require evidence of appropriate licences and authorisations.
Global HBC may apply stricter internal restrictions regardless of whether a particular activity is technically lawful in a particular jurisdiction.
27. PRODUCTS SUBJECT TO RECALL OR REGULATORY ACTION
Global HBC may remove or restrict:
recalled products;
products subject to regulatory prohibition;
products declared unsafe;
products subject to government warnings;
products subject to court restrictions; or
products whose continued sale presents a material consumer-safety risk.
Global HBC may take action based on information from manufacturers, regulators, authorities, consumers or other credible sources.
28. PRODUCTS REQUIRING SPECIAL LICENCES OR PERMITS
Where a product or service requires a licence, permit, registration, certification or government approval, the vendor must obtain and maintain the same.
Global HBC may require documentary evidence before approving or continuing the listing.
The vendor is solely responsible for:
obtaining the relevant licence;
keeping it valid;
complying with its conditions;
renewing it;
displaying required disclosures; and
immediately informing Global HBC of suspension, cancellation or expiry.

Global HBC may adopt a conservative approach where the legal position is uncertain.

31. TEMPORARY RESTRICTION DURING INVESTIGATION
Where Global HBC receives a complaint, legal notice, regulatory communication, safety concern, authenticity complaint or other credible indication of a potential violation, Global HBC may temporarily restrict the relevant listing or account while reviewing the matter.
Such temporary action does not necessarily mean that Global HBC has determined that a violation occurred.
Global HBC may maintain the restriction until:
sufficient information is received;
the issue is resolved;
the vendor provides satisfactory evidence;
a regulatory or legal matter is concluded; or
Global HBC determines that reinstatement is appropriate.
32. IMMEDIATE REMOVAL
Global HBC may immediately remove or disable content where it reasonably believes that continued availability may:
violate law;
create a safety risk;
facilitate fraud;
infringe intellectual property;
expose Global HBC to regulatory liability;

warning;

comply with licensing requirements;
comply with tax requirements;
comply with advertising requirements;
comply with consumer-protection requirements;
comply with intellectual-property laws;
comply with product-safety requirements; and
comply with all other applicable laws and regulations.
A vendor may not rely on the fact that Global HBC permitted a listing to remain online as evidence that the product or service is legally compliant.
36. NO WARRANTY BY GLOBAL HBC
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Global HBC does not warrant that:
every listing is lawful;
every seller is properly licensed;
every product is authentic;
every service is professionally qualified;
every advertisement is accurate;
every product is safe;
every claim is substantiated; or
every vendor has complied with all applicable laws.
Users should independently evaluate a vendor, product or service before entering into a transaction.
37. THIRD-PARTY VENDORS
Global HBC may provide a platform through which independent third-party vendors offer products or services.
Unless expressly stated otherwise:
the vendor is the seller/service provider;
the vendor is responsible for its products and services;
the vendor is responsible for its legal compliance;
the vendor is responsible for customer obligations applicable to it; and
Global HBC does not become the manufacturer, importer, professional service provider or legal representative of the vendor merely by providing Platform access.
38. NO AGENCY OR AUTHORISATION
Unless expressly stated in writing, listing a vendor on Global HBC does not create:
an agency relationship;
partnership;
joint venture;
employment relationship;
franchise relationship;
professional relationship; or
legal representation relationship
between Global HBC and the vendor.
A vendor must not represent itself as an agent, employee, partner, representative or authorised spokesperson of Global HBC without written authorisation.
39. INDEMNIFICATION BY VENDORS
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, each vendor agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Global HBC, its owners, directors, officers, employees, representatives, affiliates, contractors and service providers from claims, losses, liabilities, penalties, damages, costs and expenses arising from or relating to:
prohibited products;
prohibited services;
unlawful business activities;
infringement claims;
counterfeit products;
inaccurate information;
regulatory violations;
consumer claims;
personal injury;
property damage;
tax violations;
licensing violations;
misleading advertising;
medical or health claims;
financial claims;
fraud;
breach of this Policy; or
breach of applicable law.
This provision applies to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
40. PAYMENTS, REFUNDS AND FUNDS
Where a listing or account is removed, suspended or terminated, Global HBC may take appropriate action concerning related transactions, commissions, platform fees, advertising credits or other amounts, subject to:
applicable law;
contractual obligations;
transaction status;
fraud-prevention requirements;
payment-provider rules; and
Global HBC's applicable refund and payment policies.
Nothing in this Policy is intended to unlawfully deprive a consumer of a mandatory statutory right.
41. REPORTING PROHIBITED PRODUCTS OR SERVICES
Users may report suspected prohibited products or services to Global HBC.
Reports may include:
product/listing information;
vendor information;
reason for the complaint;
supporting evidence;
photographs or documents;
suspected legal violation; and
other relevant information.
Reports should be made in good faith.
False, malicious or knowingly fraudulent complaints may themselves constitute a violation of Global HBC policies.
42. INTELLECTUAL-PROPERTY COMPLAINTS
A rights holder may notify Global HBC where it believes that content or a product infringes its rights.
Global HBC may request reasonable supporting documentation, including:
identification of the rights holder;
identification of the relevant intellectual-property right;
identification of the allegedly infringing material;
explanation of the alleged infringement; and
supporting evidence.
Global HBC may remove or restrict the relevant material while reviewing the complaint.
43. LEGAL AND REGULATORY REQUESTS
Global HBC may cooperate with:
courts;
police;
law-enforcement agencies;
regulators;
government authorities;
tax authorities;
consumer-protection authorities; and
other competent authorities
where required or permitted by applicable law.
Global HBC may preserve, disclose or restrict information where legally required or reasonably necessary to comply with a lawful request.
44. NO OBLIGATION TO INVESTIGATE EVERY LISTING
Global HBC does not undertake to proactively inspect, verify or investigate every product, service, advertisement, vendor or piece of content.
The absence of enforcement action does not mean that a listing complies with this Policy.
Global HBC may act when information comes to its attention.
45. POLICY INTERPRETATION
This Policy is intended to provide broad categories of prohibited and restricted conduct.
The examples in this Policy are illustrative and not exhaustive.
Global HBC may restrict products, services or activities not expressly listed where Global HBC reasonably determines that they:
create legal risk;
create regulatory risk;
create safety risk;
create consumer-protection concerns;
create fraud risk;
create reputational risk;
violate the spirit of this Policy; or
are inconsistent with the legitimate interests of the Platform.
46. GLOBAL HBC'S RIGHT TO UPDATE THIS POLICY
Global HBC may modify, expand, restrict or otherwise update this Policy from time to time.
Changes may be made to:
reflect changes in law;
respond to regulatory requirements;
address emerging risks;
protect users;
protect Global HBC;
improve Platform integrity; or
introduce additional prohibited categories.
The updated version will become effective from the date stated on the Platform.
Continued use of Global HBC after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
47. SEVERABILITY
If any provision of this Policy is determined to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue to operate to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
The invalid provision shall be interpreted or modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable where legally permissible.
48. RELATIONSHIP WITH OTHER GLOBAL HBC POLICIES
This Policy should be read together with:
Global HBC Terms & Conditions;
Vendor Terms & Conditions;
Privacy Policy;
Refund & Cancellation Policy;
Shipping/Delivery Policy;
Intellectual Property Policy;
Advertising Policy;
User Agreement;
Community Guidelines;
Disclaimer;
Investment/Financial Opportunity Terms, where applicable; and
any other policies published by Global HBC.
If there is a conflict, Global HBC may apply the provision that provides the greater level of protection for the Platform and users to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, subject to mandatory statutory rights.
49. GOVERNING LAW
This Policy shall be governed by the laws applicable to the Global HBC entity operating the Platform, subject to applicable mandatory consumer-protection and other statutory requirements.
Where legally permissible, disputes relating to this Policy shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts specified in the Global HBC Terms & Conditions.

51. IMPORTANT VENDOR ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
By listing, advertising, selling, promoting or offering any product or service through Global HBC, the vendor acknowledges and agrees that:
“I am solely responsible for ensuring that my products, services, advertisements and business activities comply with all applicable laws, licences, regulations, consumer-protection requirements, intellectual-property rights and Global HBC policies. I understand that Global HBC may reject, restrict, remove, suspend or terminate any listing or account where Global HBC reasonably considers such action necessary to protect the Platform, its users, third parties or Global HBC's legal, regulatory, commercial or reputational interests.”
END OF PROHIBITED PRODUCTS & SERVICES POLICY
I would also add this short clause to your main Global HBC Terms & Conditions
PROHIBITED PRODUCTS, SERVICES AND ACTIVITIES
Users and vendors must not use Global HBC to list, advertise, promote, sell, supply, facilitate or otherwise provide any product, service or activity that is illegal, prohibited, counterfeit, fraudulent, misleading, unsafe, unlicensed, unauthorised, infringing or otherwise prohibited under applicable law or Global HBC policies.
Global HBC reserves the right, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, to refuse, reject, restrict, modify, suspend, disable, remove or terminate any listing, advertisement, service, account or vendor relationship where Global HBC reasonably believes that the relevant activity:
violates applicable law or regulation;
violates a court or regulatory order;
infringes third-party rights;
involves counterfeit, stolen or unauthorised goods;
involves fraud, deception or financial misconduct;
involves prohibited or controlled products;
involves unlicensed regulated services;
presents a health, safety, consumer or public-interest risk;
contains misleading or unsupported claims;
creates material legal, regulatory, financial or reputational risk for Global HBC; or
violates any Global HBC policy.
Global HBC may take such action with or without prior notice where permitted by law, particularly where immediate action is reasonably necessary to prevent harm, fraud, unlawful activity or regulatory exposure.
The fact that Global HBC permits a listing, advertisement or account to appear on the Platform does not constitute an endorsement, certification, authentication, regulatory approval or guarantee of the legality, quality, safety or accuracy of the relevant product, service or vendor.
The vendor remains solely responsible for the legality, authenticity, safety, quality, licensing, regulatory compliance, taxation, advertising and delivery of its products and services.
The detailed Global HBC Prohibited Products & Services Policy, as amended from time to time, forms part of these Terms & Conditions and is incorporated by reference.
One important legal point: I would not write “Global HBC can remove anything for any reason whatsoever” without qualification. A stronger and safer formulation is the one above: “to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law” + broad risk-based discretion + immediate action where necessary + mandatory statutory rights preserved. That gives Global HBC substantial control without unnecessarily creating an obviously overreaching clause.
